Dominic Dyer Joins Treelyon Senior Leadership Team to Build the Ground Truth of the Living World

San Francisco, US - Treelyon, the AI company building the ground truth of the physical world, beginning with trees, the planet's most complex natural asset, today announced the appointment of Dominic Dyer, one of the United Kingdom's most respected wildlife protection and environmental campaigners, to its senior leadership team as a Strategic Advisor.

Founded by entrepreneur and AI expert Abby Seneor, Treelyon captures the physical and biological state of every tree across six dimensions, creating a living biological twin for each one. Treelyon fuses LiDAR, hyperspectral imagery, satellite data, airborne DNA, and in-situ sensing with biological, environmental, economic, and temporal data into a living record of every tree, enabling governments, utilities, forestry organizations, and businesses to better understand, manage, and protect one of the planet's most valuable natural assets.

Dominic Dyer brings more than three decades of experience spanning government, industry, environmental policy, wildlife conservation, and international affairs.

He began his career as a civil servant at the UK's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, where he served for 13 years in both London and Brussels. In 2000, he joined the Food and Drink Federation as Public Affairs Director, leading policy initiatives on healthy eating and supporting the growth of the organic and plant-based food sectors across Europe and North America.

Between 2008 and 2012, Dyer served as Chief Executive of CropLife UK and as a Board Member of CropLife Europe, representing the plant science industry and advocating for innovation to strengthen global food security.

Since 2012, he has focused on wildlife conservation and environmental advocacy. He served as Chief Executive of the Badger Trust from 2013 to 2020 and was a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Veterinary Nurses Council for a decade. Today, he serves as Policy Advisor to the Born Free Foundation, Vice Chair of Wildlife and Countryside Link, and Chair of the Higginson Strategy Nature 2030 Platform, which hosts its annual Nature 2030 Awards in the UK Parliament to recognize political leadership in animal welfare, wildlife conservation, and environmental protection.

Beyond conservation, Dyer has also played a prominent role in transatlantic diplomacy and international policy. He is a Fellow and former Vice Chair of the British-American Project and an alumnus of the American Italian Council. His international work includes chairing summits in New York in 2023 and Paris in 2025 exploring how artificial intelligence can help build a more sustainable future and protect the natural world.
